Summer evenings; peeler/hard crab on pulley rigs. Cast to bars and channels; fish dusk into the flood on neaps to mids.
June-Sep; peeler or hardback crab on pulley rigs. Cast 40-80 m onto clean sand. Best at dusk into dark on a flooding tide with a light swell.
June–Sept evenings on peeler crab. Fish the Ley outflow edges and gutters on the flood, 40–80 yd. Use light but strong rigs.
Late May–Sep; peeler crab on clean patches and channel edges. Best 2 hrs either side of high on a gentle swell. Use strong snoods and circles.
Summer evenings on a flooding tide. Fresh peeler or hermit crab; cast to gutters beyond the first breaker from the Pebble Ridge.
Crab baits (peeler/hardback) on clean sand near the run; evenings on mid–late flood, May–Sep.
June–Sept, dusk into night on peeler crab. Fish the mid–high tide along sand gullies; minimal grip lead to let bait roll. Keep mobile.

Late spring–autumn evenings; peeler crab on a flowing trace cast to clean sand patches. First of the flood or dusk favours bites.
