Studland Bay

Occasional from the beaches at night late spring-autumn. Whole squid or sandeel to deeper gullies; fish neaps with minimal weed. Handle and release carefully.
Bowleaze Cove

Settled summer–autumn nights; sandeel or squid/fish cocktails at 60–120 m over clean patches between weed beds.
South Beach Studland

Late summer–autumn. Sandeel/squid on pulley or up-and-over; cast to gullies at medium range. Dusk and first of the flood are prime.
