June–Sept after dark. Small rag/lug or crab strips tight in over muddy sand; light snoods, size 2–4 hooks. Neaps and gentle surf improve bites.
Jun–Sep nights on neaps. Small lug/rag on size 2–4, short casts (10–30 yd) into shallow gutters at low light.
