Grays Beach is an urban tidal-Thames foreshore beside the riverside park at Grays, fished from the firm beach edge and promenade-side margins rather than as an open-coast venue. It is a sheltered, silty brackish-water mark where moving tides, especially the last of the flood and early ebb, suit simple ledger tactics for flounder, eels and occasional bass; avoid soft mud and keep clear of the commercial navigation channel.
