6.4· Beach · Suffolk
Landguard Point is a tidal shingle shore mark at the southern end of Felixstowe, fished from the open beach and around the hard sea defences near the fort and harbour approach. It offers clean-ground casting for flatfish, whiting and rays, with bass possible in warmer months; tidal flow can be strong and shipping-related restrictions mean anglers should keep clear of harbour infrastructure.
