5.9· Beach · Suffolk
Corton Beach is an open, sandy Suffolk shore with groynes, occasional shingle patches and tidal gullies, fished from the beach via local public paths and access points. It is a straightforward East Coast mark that usually improves around high water, producing flatfish and whiting through the colder months, with bass, mackerel and occasional rays in warmer conditions; use only maintained access routes as cliff erosion and sea conditions can affect entry.
