6.5· Beach · Lincolnshire
A broad, sandy and very accessible resort beach along Skegness seafront, fished from promenades, slipways or the open sand. It is a generally shallow, tide-dependent mark where anglers target flatfish and whiting through much of the year, with codling in colder months and rays, bass and smoothhounds more likely in the warmer season; evening or night sessions and a flooding tide often improve results.
