6.2· Harbour · Norfolk
Blakeney Harbour is a shallow, tidal harbour and creek system fished from public quay edges, firm shingle margins and selected banks around the village rather than from open beach. It is primarily a light-tackle, bait-and-float venue: flooding water and the first of the ebb can produce flounder, bass, mullet and eels, while winter brings occasional whiting and dab. Strong tidal flow, soft mud and boat activity mean anglers should choose established access points and avoid venturing onto exposed mudflats.
