5.4· Estuary · Norfolk
Thornham Harbour is a shallow, tidal saltmarsh creek reached on foot from the village and coastal paths, with fishing focused around deeper bends, creek mouths and the seaward edge rather than open-water casting. It is a mobile, tide-led estuary mark for flounder, bass and mullet, best approached around a flooding or ebbing tide, but soft mud, channels and rapidly rising water demand care.
