5.2· Estuary · Suffolk
Ramsholt is a quiet tidal River Deben estuary mark fished from accessible sections of bank and around the small quay area, subject to local access and private-land restrictions. It is a sheltered, mud-and-shingle estuary venue rather than open-sea fishing, with the flooding tide generally producing best as salt water pushes up to the village; light ledgering and scaled-down rigs suit the often clear, slow-moving water.
