6.3· Beach · East Riding of Yorkshire
North Landing is a small sheltered chalk cove below Flamborough, reached from the pay-and-display car park by a steep road/path to the beach and boat slip. It is mainly a shingle-and-sand beach mark with rocky margins and mixed ground; fish the clearer ground for flatfish and whiting, or work the rocks and deeper water for cod, pollack and wrasse. It is best approached around settled conditions, with care needed on weeded, slippery chalk and a rising tide.
