6.7· Harbour · North Yorkshire
Whitby Harbour is a sheltered tidal harbour mark fished from permitted quay edges and harbour-wall sections, with easy town access but regular boat traffic and local restrictions to consider. It offers mixed fishing: flatties and whiting in the inner channels, with cod, coalfish, pollack and summer pelagics nearer the mouth and adjoining piers.
