Access varies greatly by chosen section: central areas are convenient but busy, while quieter ground usually means a longer walk from parking.

• Use the promenade access points, slipways and signed paths rather than crossing dunes, fenced ground or any managed beach section not intended for public access.

• Fish an evening flood into darkness for whiting and potential codling, especially when there is some colour in the water.
